Before you dive

The rules every diver on this trip is held to. None of them are negotiable, and none of them are a surprise on the day.

  • Minimum age

Divers must be 18 or older on the day of the dive.

  • Medical declaration

All participants must complete a medical declaration before scuba diving. Divers with relevant medical conditions may be required to obtain medical clearance from a qualified doctor before participating. Participants must disclose any medical concerns, carry valid scuba diving certification and follow all safety instructions provided by the dive professionals. A minimum surface interval of 18 hours after the final dive is recommended before flying. A longer interval may be necessary depending on the diving profile and applicable guidance.
  • Flying after diving

Leave at least 18 hours between your last dive and your flight. Book your trip home with that gap already in it - we cannot shorten it for you.

  • Insurance

Bring travel insurance that names recreational scuba diving, including chamber treatment and evacuation. We will ask to see it.

This is general guidance for recreational diving, not medical advice about you. If any of it is a question rather than a formality, speak to a doctor before you travel.
